From this view you can see his foot gets caught on his teammates leg as the defender contacts his knee from the inside. This creates a mild varus stress which puts stress on the LCL. However, the total varus motion is minimal, his knee flexes which absorbs some of the force, and his foot doesn’t stay caught long so I would not expect major injury if any to the LCL.

#Ravens Pro Bowl WR Zay Flowers, ruled out with a knee injury, is believed to have suffered a sprain, sources say, pending the MRI.

“Zay flowers is needed.. prayers Ravens Flock,” one urged.
Zay Flowers looked to catch foot on lineman- basically leaving his knee to work like a the fulcrum and sprain his LCL. Yes, foot only caught briefly, but I see a bit of shift in knee and grabs laterally.
Might be big one here, but not hoping for injury.

Concern for Right knee, LCL+ injury.
Knee absorbs a good amount of varus stress with the defender hitting it outwards but Zay’s teammate keeping his foot fixed in place.
Low blood supply/doesn’t heal well on its own, so hopefully it’s not major or require surgery.
