He immediately walked off the court and to the locker room. Slammed something in anger. Doubt he comes back. Brutal in a game where he was just 3-points away from career-high.

“It’s a sprained ankle, I just probably won’t know how severe it is until probably a day or two,” Donovan said.

“I have no idea if they’ll do any imaging or anything else like that, but it is a sprained ankle.

“He had a game a couple games ago where he kind of rolled it a little bit, but not too bad.

“This one you could just tell, it was pretty painful the way he came up. So, obviously I’m concerned, but I just don’t know to what degree it is.”

Giddey had a season-high 29 points (11/18 FG), to go with 10 rebounds, in 28 minutes before going off with this ankle injury early in the 4th Q. His career-high is 31. He turned the ankle landing on a foot; it didn’t look horrible, but it’s the same one he hurt at the Olympics.
