Sending prayers for a speedy recovery.
Jalen Suggs’ exit due to back spasms is concerning, but it raises the question: how do injuries impact a team’s long-term prospects? While immediate recovery is important, teams must also consider how to manage player health and prevent future setbacks for sustained success.
“He was in a lot of pain,” Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said, adding that Suggs will be evaluated again Saturday. Orlando’s next game is Sunday night at home to Utah.
“Hopefully, it’s not as bad as it looked out there,” teammate Cory Joseph said of Suggs. “It’s kind of been an unfortunate thing this season. We’ve had guys going down.”
Jalen Suggs required a wheelchair to leave the court.
Feel bad for the Orlando Magic considering Banchero and Franz Wagner are out with length injuries.
Hopefully nothing serious. 🙏🙏🙏 pic.twitter.com/UUbHxTKN43
