“It’s really hard to put this into words. I’m very sorry that I let everyone down and I can’t wrestle tonight,” Adam Cole said with tears in his eyes. “I have some health issues going on at the moment that will not only not allow me to defend this championship tonight, but I am going to be gone for a while.”
Adam Cole, whose real name is Austin Jenkins, has faced significant setbacks in AEW since joining in 2021.
A Lancaster, Pennsylvania native, Cole began wrestling in 2007, becoming a three-time Ring of Honor champion and NXT Champion in WWE (2017–2021).
Adam Cole is either hurt or sick to the point he may never wrestle again… All love, hopefully he can regain a full happy healthy life.
