What are some ways to avoid wasting time without feeling bored or stressed?

Hello, brothers and sisters,

In this post I m going to tell my own feeling and experience regarding to avoid wasting time without any boredom feeling.

The very first technique, I have been using after joining Brahma kumaris spiritual organization. I have been practicing the rajyoga meditation since 7 years.

The first technique to avoid wasting time without any boredom feeling is as follow:

1. Vichar Sager Manthan – Churn The Spiritual Knowledge

Vicha Sager Manthan – Very powerful technique for this. Take some good and positive word or you can say authority words from the spiritual books, sit in silence somewhere alone with nature and start this Vichar Sager Manthan(churning the ocean of thoughts). I practice this.

Suppose I took the word good sanskar and started thinking over it and starts writing on it in my notebook. How and what do we search about the taken word? So, you can search the same word in spiritual books like I search in Brahma kumaris’s murli. And, where ever you find the matching word in the book, just write those sentences in your note book. This is called butter from gyan milk. We can call it vichar sager manthan. You can write your own ideas. By this technique, you can write your own books too.

Suppose I have taken the word “संस्कार” And start finding the same word in brahma kumaris’s murli, let’s search.

Here is the search results – Do we not die a living death to our sanskars? When someone dies, his past sanskars also finish.  So here also, why should you remember your past sanskars? There are many more search results related to this word. By this kind, you can search and write your own spiritual knowledge churning.

This technique helped me avoiding time wasting. This makes my time productive and the biggest thing is that it never gets me bored. This is very interesting.

2. Living in the present moment !

Living in the present moment, you do not have to think about past or future. You have to be in the present moments. Why is it said that living in the present moment. Because it gives happiness. People always worry about the past or future. And they lost their present moment thinking about past or future. You have to forget your past and past memories and live alwasy in present. Yes, planning is important but your do not have to stick with future results. God says, Do your work and don’t worry about the result. Yes, you can take the target or goal, but it may fluctuates, you have to be stable in both winning or defeat situation.

3. Exercise, Jogging, Running, Sports game practice

It is said that an empty mind is the devil’s workshop. But our mind has become devil now. When we work also then our mind keeps wandering here and there. Our concentration power has gone. We need to focus and increase concentration power by trying these techniques like physical exercises, yoga, jogging, running, playing sports games etc. These help us to avoid time wasting without any stress or boredam feeling and makes our time productive and give us royalties in future. In future, we can take part in any sports competition and win the gold medal.

4. Meditation

It is said that Meditation may reduce stress and fear etc and gives peace increase our concentration power, make our mind strong to face any situations in lives. Why do we not try meditation? Meditation will make our time productive.

The work that you used to do in 1 hour, you can do that work in half an hour, there is so much power in the power of concentration that it can make your time productive. This is the effect of Meditation. What happens, It reduces number of thoughts and teaches us to focus on the particular thing. Meditation makes our mind calm and make the intellect pure and powerful.

5. Focus on the Jobs or Businesses

After the meditation, we started focusing on our jobs and businesses. Right now, there is so much negativity in the environment, we want to focus but never do that. Meditation helps you regarding this. You start focusing and growing in your jobs or businesses and get success in very less time. Concentration power gives us strength to get success in less time.

6. Save yourself from distraction and avoid time wasting

Right now, there are many types of distractions from which we need to avoid like Mobile, Internet, Social Media, News Media, Online Video games, TV etc. These are very good science developments but we need to use it in a very productive way and in control. We need controlling power to use these. It is said, It is like a swamp in which you keep sinking. There is no control. No body can save you. That is why meditation is important to get the controlling power. This power can save you from this swamp.
