What Are Some Ways Of Overcoming Depression Without Medication?

What Is Depression?

Depression is nothing but a deep emotional feeling based on our negative thoughts. This is a kind of disease which will not let you feel happiness. This will stop you to feel inner peace and joy.

Let’s example: A Chakravyuh(trap) of negativity, waste thoughts etc. We have to care so much when we start thinking negative or waste. We have to change into positive at once so that we do not go into this trap. This trap has many internal doors and every door can put you in danger.

What is the reason for Depression?

As I said above, Depression is nothing but a deep emotional feeling. God says, we are all souls and soul has three part, mind, intellect and impression. Our mind creates thoughts and intellect take decisions. Based on thoughts and decisions, we do karma and it creates impression(habits) of the person. There are basically 2 kind of mind, one is conscious mind and another is sub-conscious mind. The conscious mind stores the temporary thoughts and sub-conscious mind stores parament thoughts. Suppose, when we do one karma first time like driving a bike, it is stored in conscious mind and when we learned completely, it is stored in sub-conscious mind permanently. Now, it has become a habit(impression or sanskara).

Suppose, somebody who loves you a lot and one day, he/she deceives you, it is stored in sub-conscious mind and the person could not able to forget due to stored in sub-conscious mind. And this bad thoughts start disturbing the person on daily basis. And it is become depression of the person. The person starts showing symptoms of depressions like lack of sleep, sadness, no interest, anger, abusing, ego, jealous, react a lot, speak very loudly, talking about suicide always, emotional disbalance, crying, loss of all powers like(Power to Accommodate, Power of Tolerate, Power to pack up, Power to Face, Power to Discriminate, Power to Judge, Power to Co-operate & Power to Withdraw) etc.

There can be many more situations when the person can have depressions like ignoring by someone, deceiving, bad relationships, fighting in relationships, breakups, family problems, career related problems, health problems etc. The basis reasons for depression is emotional disbalance and discharge soul. The person is lacking all the powers and virtues of souls. And soul is discharged completely. Due to lacking of power, the person is emotionally very weak. How do we help someone who is in depression?

Anybody can have this depression, mental diseases. Meditation works very good in this regard. In my family, anybody can have this. If we found, anybody in my family has this depression or mind related problem, we started taking care a lot and give lot of love only. The situation may not have positive but still we have to support with extra love and care. A depression patient can give negative vibration to others too. We have to take care of myself first with lot of positive vibration, meditation and spiritual studies. If I am not enough strong to face them, we can be depressed also.

So, if anybody in my family is in depression, first of all we should start meditation and start giving positive vibration so that we could not be troubled. A depression patient is not a normal person, they are in troubled itself, how can we expect from them? They need extra emotional support with psychiatric treatment. Sometime, from our love and care with lot of emotional support, they are cured without any psychiatric treatment. I have one experience about this.

A person who had severe depression and was thinking suicidal thoughts. We had sit with her and talking with free mind and asked her to share each and everything about her life. What is the problem in her life? And try to understand each and everything clearly and again asked her for the solutions she wanted. She shared each and everything and the solutions came. She is normal now. So, sometimes, the depression patient need the positive counselling. Problem is solved with the counseling itself.

How To Finish Depression?

I have really felt experience to remove depression. We have to follow very strict lifestyle like army. If the patient affected from depression could not able to do anything, we can help them to follow disciplined and pure life. A depression patient can be violent and can harm you also. They are not normal. We see that when a depression patient tells wrong thing, we are not so powerful to ignore them and we started fed-up with them. This is not good for them. They need lot of love and care. Depression is also a kind of disease in which we have to give them lot of care and love weather they are not good to me. We should give them love and care. They need extra care.

According to me, these are some checklists:

  • Early morning meditation
  • Spiritual study
  • Follow celibacy
  • Eat food and vegetarian food
  • Morning and evening walk with some exercise
  • Mind Exercise(Meditation with commentary, mind games etc)
  • Always keep your mind busy in positive thoughts and healthy activities work

How is your mood today? Not Feeling Good, what is the reason?

We know that our moods are changing hour by hour. Why? Why are we not stable? It depends upon our mind and intellectual which is equal to soul. Our soul is loosing energy day by day by our bad karma. Do you feel that when you do good things and satisfied, you feel very good that day. And, when you do bad things, you feel bad that day and you are not satisfied that day.

What is the reason of changing moods?

We always take care about our physical health, physical body but do not take care of our mental health and our soul(battery of our body). Your mental health will decide your mood.
