How Can A Depressed Person Find Ways To Overcome Negative Thoughts?

The permanent way to overcome negative thoughts is to emerge our power of realisation(comes from meditation). First of all, find the reason, this is the first step.

Now, share each and everything to someone loved ones. The best thing is that understand the power of spirituality. Share each and every things to the GOD, the supreme ones. When you start doing spiritual practices, you will be able understand the power of sharing, power of realisation etc. There are many powers, which you can get from the GOD. This only can overcome negative thoughts. It is just like dust which should be in dustbin not my mind or intellect. There should be Dilaram in my heart. There are many reasons of negative thoughts coming in my mind. You can study on it. And Try to find your reason of negative thoughts. Like. As is the food, so is the mind(जैसा अन्न वैसा मन).

My Experience to Overcome Negative thinking

I have exprienced some situations where I will tell you that how did I overcome this. I have used many techniques learned in Brahma Kumaris World Godly university.

  1. Nothing  New
  2. The World Drama, and it is always benefactor.
  3. Power of Karma
  4. Affirmations to overcome negative affirmations

Nothing New

Nothing new is the knowledge we get fromt he God when GOD has come in this earth and starts teaching to the souls and says that nothing is new. The world cycle is of 5000 years old. And everything is happend is already happned 5000 years ago. We have already created that sanskar or karma and recorded in our soul. The same thing is happening again. This is called Nothing new.

The World Drama

The World drama is always benefactor. GOD says. The Drama is always welfare(kalyankari). We are all playing our parts in this world drama. Every thing is happening based on our planted seed(seed of karma). You will reap the fruit as the seed you sow. As we heard the same and mostly people believe this. Why are we saying that this world drama is welfare and banefactor.(Jo hota hain aacha hota hain, The Geeta Sar). Then why do we think negative?

The Power Of Karma

As we know the power of karma. Whatever karma, whichever karma we do, we get results based on that karma. If we express anger, we get anger from others. Whatever you give to others, we get the same from others with interest also. We are thinking negative, it is also a karma. How should we think?

Affirmations to overcome negative affirmations

Affirmations is Affirmation. We have both options, positive and negative. If our intellect is clean and clear, we always have positive affirmations. Because this is time of negativity. Everywhere is negative emotions and vibrations. If you have to keep yourself always positive, you have to work hard to maintain your intellect so clean and clear. We learn the Rajyoga meditation in Brahma Kumaris Schools to become positive always. Here, Rajyoga meditation is taught in which we practice the make our mind and intellect clean clear. Our old tradition of thinking, our old habits, old food habits etc makes us negative. If we want to make our mind always positive, we need to practice this meditation and make our life “Rajyogi”.
