The artwork, which appears on the Chrome New Tab page across Android, iOS, and desktop platforms, features the new gradient ‘G’ logo with red, yellow, green, and blue dots.
The design is reminiscent of outer space and aims to highlight how users can “search like never before” using this innovative feature.
Google is promoting AI Mode with an animated Google Doodle on its home page, in some countries. The Google home page logo, animated and clickable, takes you into a search for AI Mode.
AI Mode is a new feature in Google Search, accessible through the Google app or by visiting google.com/aimode. It utilizes a custom version of Gemini 2.5 and aims to provide more comprehensive, AI-powered answers to complex or exploratory questions. AI Mode uses a “query fan-out” technique to break down complex questions into subtopics and search across multiple sources, offering a more nuanced and detailed response.
