Chad McQueen, star of the Karate Kid and son of Steve McQueen, has died at the age of 63.
The sad news was announced by his family, with his lawyer Arthur Barens confirming the actor had passed away from organ failure.

His wife, Jeanie Galbraith, posted a tribute to him on Instagram with their son Chase and daughter Madison.
His lawyer and friend, Arthur Barens, said the cause was organ failure. Chad McQueen was involved in more than 25 movies and television shows as an actor, a producer and in other capacities.
McQueen was born in Los Angeles on Dec. 28, 1960. He was raised in Malibu.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanie, and his children, Chase, Madison and Steven, a professional actor best known for his role in “The Vampire Diaries.”
“I didn’t find acting fun anymore,” McQueen said in a 2005 interview with AP. “So, I decided to give racing a total commitment.”
Chadwick Steven McQueen (December 28, 1960 – September 11, 2024) was an American actor, film producer, martial artist, and race car driver. He was the only son and last living child of actor Steve McQueen (1930 – 1980).
