“We do not believe there are any survivors,” Shawn Conway, fire chief of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, said at a news conference Saturday, adding that the residents of the home that was hit were unharmed.

The aircraft, en route from Des Moines International Airport to Anoka County-Blaine Airport, erupted into flames upon impact, leaving no survivors on board.
Authorities haven’t confirmed the exact number of passengers, but the plane, a small executive transport, can carry up to six people. Miraculously, the home’s residents escaped unharmed, though the house was destroyed.
The NTSB and FAA are investigating, with teams arriving Sunday to examine the wreckage. While the cause remains unconfirmed, speculation points to possible mechanical failure or weather-related factors.
March in Minnesota can bring cold, snow, or icing conditions that challenge small aircraft. Flight data shows the plane, registered to DGW Enterprises of Edina, was cleared to land moments before dropping to 2,100 feet at 77 knots, suggesting a sudden loss of control. More answers will come as the investigation unfolds.
