A small plane crash-landed on a busy Texas interstate, colliding with multiple cars in the chaos.
There are “a lot of unknowns about who was where on the streets” when the plane crashed, and it is possible that the casualty figures will grow, Thiel said.
“All of sudden I heard like a ‘boom,’ and I thought it was a thunderstorm,” said Selkuc Koc, a waiter at the Four Seasons Diner on Cottman Avenue. “And I get up and look at the smoke and the fire, it was like a balloon. I thought it was a gas station that blew up.”

As news broke, Texas Democrats and Republicans shared their thoughts and prayers on X. Chip Roy (R-TX 21st District) tweeted, “Prayers for all those involved, their families, & first responders Godspeed.”
Monica De La Cruz (R-TX 15th District) also wrote, “I’m deeply saddened by this tragedy. As we hold out hope for miracles, my family and I are keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers.”
“Very tragic plane crash in our Nation’s Capital tonight. My prayers are with those impacted, their loved ones, and first responders on the scene,” Tony Gonzalez (R-TX 23rd District) said.

Victim in the Philadelphia restaurant during last nights plane crash was hit by plane shrapnel that came through the window. He appears to be wearing a veterans hat.
