Alijah Arenas, son of former NBA player, hospitalized after car crash
Absolutely heartbreaking… 18-year-old USC commit Alijah Arenas, son of Gilbert Arenas, is in a coma after a car crash in LA. 💔 Just days ago he was set to lead USC—now the whole sports world is praying.
USC men’s basketball coach Eric Musselman said in a statement on X: “Our thoughts and prayers are with Alijah and his family following this morning’s accident. Please keep him, his teammates and friends, and the entire Arenas family in your prayers.”

Five-star prospect and USC commit Alijah Arenas was involved in a serious car crash early Thursday morning, hospitalized and placed into an induced coma, per Shams Charania.
Arenas is the son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas.
The Arenas family is asking for prayers after Gilbert Arenas and Laura Govan’s son Alijah Arenas crashed his Tesla Cybertruck early Thursday morning. Alijah was taken away from the scene in “serious condition” and has since been placed into a medically induced coma. There is no more information at this time.
